Everyone decorates their bullet journal differently. Don’t be intimidated or apprehensive. If you are artistically challenged, there are plenty of Youtube videos that you can watch to learn how to doodle. Trust me, it won’t be as challenging as you think it will.

I practice doodling whenever I can. I started off with small things that I wanted to add in my journal. I wanted to learn how to do borders and dividers.
Those doodles I did were from vids that I watched and some from my own imagination.
Washi tape comes in so many colors and designs. You can’t get bored with Washi.
Crayons & Markers
It’s back to school time and Wal-Mart has deals on crayons and markers. I know most people starting out want the latest bujo favorite markers and crayons.
But If it’s not in your budget and you are unsure if bujo-ing is going to be your main thing then visit Wal-Mart or Dollar Tree.
Stickers & Paper clips
Dollar Tree has plenty of stickers for just $1.
Sticky notes/post its
I really like sticky notes/post its and I try to use them in my journal. Some people ask me what’s the point of them. Well, I use mine to add spontaneous ideas, thoughts, random phone numbers for places of business, and for whatever else I figure out!
The best part? It’s an affordable option! You probably already have some in your home.
Whatever you decide to do – just have fun with it! If you find that you are stressed out and have serious anxiety from all of it then rethink what your purpose is and start from there.
I’m in so many Bullet Journaling groups and I must remember that everyone journals differently and I’m there to get ideas, be social and learn. I’m not there to change who I am and what I like, you know what I mean?
Enjoy the process and don’t be so hard on yourself!
