This post brought to you by Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop. The content and opinions expressed below are that of Productive & Pretty.
This weekend the first Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop in North America opened in NYC. If you are in or near New York, get out of your chair right now and just go. Trust me, by the time you get to the bottom of this post you’ll regret not having left already.
Situated in the heart of the Flatiron district, the Wonder Photo Shop is part retail store, part print center, part interactive workshop, and part gorgeous beacon of photo opportunities.
I want to stress the interactive component; this is a truly a place where you can go not only to interact with your photos, but with others as well. I imagine a group of friends of any age being able to go to the store, and play!
Plus that plant covered wall pictured above looks amazing and I want to snap a pic of that for my Instagram. Don’t act like you didn’t think it, too.
I so desperately wanted to check out the store opening, but unfortunately we’ve been battling passing a virus all around our house so I am currently tending to a sick baby! So instead I’ve just been stalking all the fun by following the Wonder Photo Shop NYC on Facebook.
It looks like a group of fashion bloggers were there Thursday or Friday night and I was obsessing over their Instagram pics! You better believe my next trip to NYC will include a stop there. This reminds me that I really need to start hanging out with fashion bloggers to up my own style game, but I digress.
There is still time for you to check the out the store, opening weekend or otherwise. And honestly, I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to because there is much you can do while you are there!
- Check out the latest Fujifilm cameras and accessories — I am currently obsessing over these! I got my hands on a black instax® mini, and my husband has given up all hope of me engaging in conversation with him.
- Attend a DIY class — Who would wouldn’t love this? I wish I lived closer to the city to do this more regularly, but for those with a commute or who can only make it in from time to time, I feel like this would be an amazing bachelorette party activity before you kick off the evening events!
- Create prints and products instantly from your Smartphone — I don’t know about you, but being able to take a photo and print it right in my hands takes me back to simpler times when I was a kid!
Keep it simple? Print your instant or smart phone photos like I did using the instax® mini in black!
Want something more polished and professional? There are tons of product possibilities you can make in stores.
Need another reason to go? They are having a Launch Day instax® Giveaway!
Want to be able to take photos and print instantly? Visit the store this weekend and you’ll automatically be entered to win one. Upon entering the store, consumers will be asked to enter their name and email address into an iPad. Upon submitting their information, the platform will automatically generate a “winner” or “not a winner” message letting the participant know if they’ve won. The platform will auto-populate one winner every hour throughout opening weekend (July 22-24). Read the Official Rules for more details.
Bullet Journal friends – I’ve already been finding so many fun ways to incorporate these into my planner. Post on that coming soon! 🙂
