Ever wish you could clone yourself, create more time, or wind the clock back to Monday?!
I get it! The path of high performance isn’t easy. So it’s not unusual for ambitious, high-achievers (like you) to hit a brick wall.
As your expectations and goals get bigger, so does the amount on your plate. It’s inevitable you’ll reach a point where your old system lets you down, steals your potential, and eats your time.
So if you’re:
- Hitting the pillow exhausted, but not accomplished.
- Compromising your health and relationships because you can’t fit it all in
- Lacking confidence because what you haven’t done steals all your success
Know you’re not alone and there is a better way.
You can get more done in less time. You can create work-life harmony. You can transform your hard work into tangible results.
You simply need to start your day like the world’s top performers.
However, most people won’t do this – even though there are just FIVE simple things to do.
“Before I used the SELF Journal, my life was a mess! I was overwhelmed with work, I didn’t have enough hours in the day to feel on top of everything, and my marriage was failing. I neglected my kids too and the guilt was tearing me apart.
The SELF Journal helped me get better organized. It showed me how much time I did have and helped me manage my workload in a way that restored work-life harmony.
The SELF Journal has helped restore confidence in myself too. I’ve clocked up more wins and created the space I needed to focus on the people who really matter.
I’d recommend this tool for any entrepreneurial mom who’s feeling torn, and wants to be successful in ALL areas of her life.”

What about you?
Are you ready to create a step-change in your productivity, your performance, and ultimately your life?
If so, keep reading and I’ll show you how…
1. Set a 13 week goal
Most people are unproductive and ineffective because they’re not clear on the direction they want their life to take.
Without a clear target, you WILL spin your wheels and get stuck in the weeds. Without direction, you’ll procrastinate, get confused over priorities, and waste time flitting from here to there.
[And without tangible results, is it any wonder people get deflated and demoralized?]
That’s why peak productivity and high-performance starts with a clear goal.
But not a 1, 5 or 10 year goal. Those finish lines are too far in the distance to keep you hustling (it’s why most New Year’s resolutions fail). Instead, set yourself a 13-week target.
Three months is long enough to achieve something significant, but short enough to push off procrastination, maximize focus, and inspire you to turn on the hustle everyday.
With a big picture goal to keep you in check, you’ll never lose sight of the reason WHY you’re working hard. Adopt this one element alone and your productivity will go through the roof.
But you can push things even further with the following four steps…
2. Write out your goal DAILY
Goals take time and humans don’t like to wait. Even 13 week goals make us impatient! But peak productivity requires you to hustle – even when you’re distracted, frustrated, or demotivated!
That’s why you have to write out your goal DAILY.
This may feel repetitive to start with, but through this step you’ll leverage the awesome power of your subconscious mind. Write out your goal and you’ll hardwire your desired outcome into your brain. This homing beacon, reminds you why, keeps you on track, and makes shiny new things less tempting!
This practice also switches on your Reticular Activating System (that’s the part of your brain that makes you see pregnant women everywhere when you discover you’re expecting!)
It’s a game-changer! With your RAS clear on your intentions, don’t be surprised if you ‘stumble’ upon insights, information, and experiences that accelerate your path – all because your brain knows what you need to get results.
It’s a HUGE return for a practice that takes less than 30 seconds a day.
3. Become hyper time aware
Clear goals are the litmus test that helps you shape your day in the direction you want to go.
Your next productivity leap comes from the way you plan, schedule, and set up your day.
Most people fall into one of two camps; top performers are always in the second:
- Your day is reactive and ad hoc. You select tasks based on immovable deadlines, who shouts the loudest, or what gives you some quick wins
- Your day is PROACTIVE and meticulously planned. You carefully schedule your day – hour-by-hour – so you’re always clear on what needs to get done NOW, NEXT, and LATER
Highly proactive days are created through Zero Based Scheduling.
This is when you break your day into 30-minute chunks – then allocate a specific task or activity to every single slot. In other words, you leave ZERO white space on your daily timeline.
This may sound overwhelming at first, but there’s a big payoff. This practice delivers work-life harmony as well as peak performance.
Work-life harmony happens because alongside work tasks, you schedule downtime, do nothing time, exercise time, as well as dates, time with your kids, and anything else that makes your day a win.
Your productivity skyrockets because this practice reveals where you’re squandering time. (Prepare to be scared!) There is no hiding in a zero hours schedule! Instead, you become acutely aware how long tasks take and where you’re investing your time.
This ensures discipline. No more ‘quick looks’ on social media. No more open windows on tasks, which then eat up the entire day. Instead, you sit tight, turn to-dos into dones, and even discover time you didn’t know you had!
True, there may still be days when you hit the pillow exhausted, but at least you’ll feel accomplished.
And there’s an extra step that makes this practice even more productive…
4. Work on the most important things FIRST
Zero hours scheduling plus prioritized tasks is like rocket fuel for your productivity!
You may have an overwhelming to-do list, but not everything is important or impactful. If you want to move the needle as far as possible – get better at choosing your tasks.
I know! It’s tempting to go after the quick, easy wins. A shorter to-do list feels better, right? But spend time on tasks that make minimal impact, and you’ll never feel fulfilled.
Instead, pick THREE priority tasks each day. TODAY’S TARGETS are the three things that make the day a win – even if you do nothing else.
When chosen, schedule these tasks onto your timeline FIRST – then plan everything else around them. Even better, do them first thing. Eat that frog as soon as possible and everything that follows is easier.
Here’s what’s most exciting…
Give each target a realistic time slot, then hustle to finish by the deadline and you’ll have MORE time to do other things.
“With big goals and high-expectations for my business, I was under a lot of pressure.
Learning on the job, my head was full and my to-do list even longer. There were times I’d lack clarity to make good decisions and my progress stalled as a result. I was frustrated!
The SELF Journal helped me get out of my head so I could focus on the task at hand. With a clear understanding of my goals and priorities, it became easier to set up each day for a win.
The journal has played a fundamental role in the success of my business and I’d recommend this tool to any entrepreneur who wants a structure and system to help them succeed. It’s a game-changer.”

5. Make today’s insights tomorrow’s leverage
Highly productive days don’t end with goal setting, prioritization, and zero-hours scheduling.
You can’t be your best if you don’t know what ‘best’ looks like. That’s one reason why reflection is a core component of a game-changing schedule.
Each day brings an opportunity to learn and grow. When you capture what you’d do differently next time, today’s lessons become tomorrow’s leverage. But many of us miss these important insights because we don’t write them down.
It’s the same with your wins.
High performance is a lonely. If you don’t acknowledge your wins, there’s no guarantee anyone else will. So take 5-10 minutes at the end of every day – and create a bank of positivity that will fuel you on the inevitable days when you’re not sure you’ve got it handled.
You CAN’T succeed at a high-level without these five principles
Use these five principles every day and you’ll become a productivity master – someone who’s able to achieve bigger goals, make time for the things that matter, and get more done in less time (much to the envy and confusion of your peers!)
These principles work. The challenge is creating a new habit that compels you to keep using them – so you don’t slip back into your old ways.
It’s a risk to rely on good intentions alone. That’s why tools are key – particularly tools that guide you to:
- Set a 13-week goal
- Write out your goal daily
- Prioritize your day
- Zero hours your schedule, and
- Reflect on your wins
That’s something the SELF Journal will help you do. This proven productivity and performance system is built around these five principles of success.
Used by thousands of top performers like Kirsten, Chris, and Martin, this tool changes lives.
“I’d hit a wall.
My hard work had paid off and I was earning great money thanks to a very successful corporate career, but the long hours sat at my desk were taking their toll.
I’d always been fit and healthy, but since I’d stopped going to the gym I’d got flabby. I even had a beer gut. I didn’t like my reflection and didn’t feel good naked. It was affecting my relationship with my wife too. Something had to change.
I’d convinced myself there was no time for exercise – the SELF Journal exposed that lie! With my goal set and my day scheduled around my priorities, I found the time to get back in shape. Not only was my confidence restored, but I was more motivated at work too which means I’m up for promotion again soon.”
